Sandbox (Thredd Test Account)

The Sandbox 1.0 is a generic shared test account, set up with a default issuer and a basic card program. It provides access to our UAT environment to help you discover how the Thredd API work and enables you to create and manage test cards.

Thredd Sandbox only provides access to a restricted set of Thredd functionality.

When you are provided with access to the Sandbox, we will give you test configuration data that can be used to create physical cards. Note that this information is not unique and is shared with other Thredd customers. Also note that test cards created in the Sandbox are not sent for printing and there is no connection or processing via the card schemes.

Access to the Sandbox allows you to begin Web Service testing as soon as a project is started. This will help you refine your requirements and project scope at the earliest possible stage.

The basic configuration includes a Physical Product (with GBP-only UK Country of Issue). Each Product has an associated Velocity Limit Group and Card Usage Group.
