Environments
Thredd provides development environments to meet the needs of all stages of a programme:
Sandbox
The Sandbox 1.0 is a generic shared test account, set up with a default issuer and a basic card program. It provides access to a restricted set of Thredd functionality.
The Sandbox can be used for exploring Thredd API and card options.
See Sandbox.
UAT Environment
Our User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Environment is a separate environment where you can set up your cards and test card and transaction functionality. Thredd configures your dedicated program on the test environment, with unique credentials, based on the details agreed in your Product Setup Form (PSF). At this stage transactions are managed within the test environment and not via the card scheme network.
Production Environment
Once all production readiness activities are complete, let us know that you are ready to migrate to the Production environment and start pavement testing End-to-end testing of the cardholder journey using real cards that have been issued, which takes place before a service is rolled-out to customers.. We will provide you with production credentials and generate a limited number of PAN stock, as approved by your card issuer. Additional end-to-end transaction testing is required at this stage.
For more information on our UAT and production environments and their role in your project, see the Getting Started Guide > Stages in a Project.
